été 2025 : la route des Vikings - summer 2025 : the Viking route
De retour en Suède, je pars pour Copenhague où je passerai 1.5 mois à préparer Reva pour mon plus grand projet de navigation en solitaire en Atlantique Nord : la route des Vikings. Réparation du tube étambot et de la coque, carénage, installation d'une capote et d'un radar. Je suis prête pour affronter les mers froides. En trois mois je boucle ce parcours qui me mènera en Norvège, aux îles Shetland, aux îles Féroé, en Islande, au Groenland, à Terre-Neuve et enfin Saint Pierre et Miquelon.

Back in Sweden, I set off for Copenhagen where I spent 1.5 months preparing Reva for my biggest solo sailing project in the North Atlantic: the Viking Route. Repairs to the stern tube and hull, antifouling, installation of a sprayhood and radar. I was ready to face the cold seas. In three months, I completed this route which took me to Norway, the Shetland Islands, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, and finally Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
été 2024 : Remontée des côtes européennes - summer 2024 : Sailing up the European coasts
Au printemps 2024, je reviens chercher Reva qui a dormi hors de l'eau tout l'hiver. Je pars pour le nord, d'abord en longeant la cote nord espagnole, jusqu'à Bilbao. Puis je me lance dans la traversée du golfe de Gascogne, jusqu'à Arzal en France, je traverse la Manche pour longer la cote sud de l'Angleterre en passant par l'Isle de Wight pour retraverser vers Boulogne-sur-mer. De là je continue vers la Belgique, les Pays-Bas, l'Allemagne. Je traverse les terre par le canal de Kiel et j'arrive en Mer Baltique. Je fini mon périple en Suède proche de Malmö.

In the spring of 2024, I'll return to retrieve Reva, who has been sleeping out of the water all winter. I'll head north, first along the northern coast of Spain, as far as Bilbao. Then I'll cross the Bay of Biscay to Arzal in France, cross the English Channel, and sail along the south coast of England, passing the Isle of Wight before crossing back to Boulogne-sur-Mer. From there, I'll continue towards Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. I'll cross inland via the Kiel Canal and arrive in the Baltic Sea. I'll finish my journey in Sweden, near Malmö.
été 2023 : Travaux et premières navigation solo - summer 2023 : Refit and first solo sailing trips
J'arrive au Portugal en Avril 2023, j'ai du pain su la planche pour préparer mon voilier, Reva, pour la navigation au large en solitaire. Je travaille 3 mois pour enfin le mettre à l'eau, fin Juin. Je fais enfin mes premieres navigations solo et commence à remonter les cotes portugaises. Je navigue jusqu'à La Corogne en Espagne dans l'optique de traverser le Golfe de Gascogne mais la météo en a décidé autrement. Je décide donc d'hiverner le bateau là.

I arrived in Portugal in April 2023, and I had a lot of work ahead of me preparing my sailboat, Reva, for solo offshore sailing. I worked for three months before finally launching her at the end of June. I finally made my first solo sails and started heading up the Portuguese coast. I sailed as far as A Coruña in Spain with the intention of crossing the Bay of Biscay, but the weather had other plans. So I decided to winter the boat there.
février 2023 : L'aventure commence - feb 2023 The adventure begins
En février 2023, j'achète mon premier voilier. J'habite à Montréal, le bateau est au Portugal. C'est parti pour l'aventure. Je quitte mon travail, je fais mes valises et je pars rejoindre mon bateau, un monocoque en aluminium de 10.20m (34pieds), rebaptisé Reva.
